I almost don't know where to start reviewing this wonderful place!  We arrived with a 'rota' of friends & family who were going to stay with us during our 3 week holiday.  On arrival we were met by Richard, who showed us around.  He, & Debbie, the housekeepers, were very helpful, informative & friendly. The house is furnished & stocked more than adequately - plenty of cutlery & crockery.  There is more than enough space for 8 adults to be together comfortably, & yet have privacy if required.  The bedrooms are spacious, with plenty of storage space & air-conditioning for the stickier nights.  The large pool was cleaned twice weekly, & kept at a perfect temperature by Martin - who was also most helpful with any other queries we had.  Plenty of activities were on site to enable us to have our own 'Olympics'!! Swimming, ping-pong, table football, cycling & boules for outdoors, & numerous board games inside.  The terrace gets the evening sunshine & is perfect for a pre-dinner glass of wine (local, of course!).  If I'm honest, it was slightly more remote than I thought - I felt sure there would be a small bar/restaurant in the village & there wasn't!! So, the gas barbecue was an added bonus, & we used it regularly. We spent nearly every evening sat outside on the balcony, without worry of disturbing the neighbours! There are very large supermarkets close by, so supplies are good.  A wonderful restaurant nearby, made us very welcome several times - Domaine Michaud.  All in all, we had a truly fantastic holiday in 'Labyrinthe' - I have no doubts at all in whole heartedly recommending this property. I definitely like to think that we will return! The communications from the owner were efficient & prompt, as was the refund of our damage deposit.  Thank you for a fabulous & memorable holiday! This is a fantastic property.  The photos do not do it justice!  There are 3 bedrooms on the lower ground floor (pool level) each with their own bathroom - 2 doubles and a twin.  On the entrance level there is a large double and a small double that share a bathroom (separate toilet).  The house was very clean and all the equipment was of exceptional quality.  There was nothing that wasn't thought of.  Our children enjoyed the pool which was cleaned several times during our stay and the big hit was the table tennis table under cover at the side of the house.  There is a separate kitchen on the lower ground floor which we didn't need to use as we spent our time on the ground level.  The outside eating area is covered with a great view of the hills and Montclar village.  The managers of the property were quick to answer any queries we had promptly and were interested in our feedback.  The welcome book was laid out well, maybe it could have included a top 5 of things to do in the area as I relied on 'Google' to read about the area.  Carcassone itself is a spectacular sight, a little disappointing once inside the walled city with many of the same type of souvenir shops.  We went to the beach at Leucate 3 times, lovely beach, few facilities but parking very easy and no problem with space in August.  We tried Angeles sur mer but struggled to get near beach with traffic.  Recommend the Mayronnes sculpture walk.  Around an hour and half walk with lots of sculptures to find and to keep the children interested.  We did not eat out but frequented the supermarket at limoux and used the BBQ facilities at the house.  Montclar is a sleepy village, no shops so you need a car for groceries.  In summary we have been going to France for 7 years and this is the best property we have stayed in.  Would return if circumstances allow!  (Jenny - Party of 10. We had a fantastic time at your home in Montclar.  It is a wonderful home and we appreciated how you have considered (and provided) everything a visitor would need or want.  We would certainly highly recommend your home to others.  (Mark - Party of 10. July 2015)

We have just returned from a week's holiday in Labyrinthe and have had the most wonderful time.  The house is well set out and very convenient for a large family.  We have a large age variation from my mother at 88 years old to the baby at 5 months and we were able to give everyone a bedroom (and bathroom) to suit.  We made good use of the 2 terraces and spend a lot of our time playing volleyball in the pool or simply relaxing either by the pool or in the garden.  The views from the terrace are fabulous and it is a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay.  We can't recommend Labyrinthe highly enough and will look forward

to returning in years to come.  (Janine - Party of 11. June 2015)

We very much enjoyed the stay at Labyrinthe.  So much so in fact that we are recommending it to our parents for a future family holiday.  (Daniel - Party of 12. June 2015)

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Labyrinthe.  It was lovely, very well thought out, beautifully furnished and well equipped - just perfect for our large family.   Thank you for the kind gift of wine on arrival...you couldn't have made it any nicer and both Debbie and Martin were very helpful indeed.
