Our 2nd year at Labyrinthe and have already booked for next year as there is so much more to see and do in the region that we never got round to.  It probably had a lot to do with the glorious weather we had and the very difficult decision of lazing by the pool and dining al fresco on the patio or going out sight seeing for the day.  The boules competitions on the boulesdrome kept us entertained for hours too.  The villa is definitely 5 star, every comfort you need which is what a holiday should be about plus the little extras that make it perfect.  The views from the villa are wonderful and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking.  Thanks for letting us share your holiday home.  (Cynthia - party of 8. September 2009)

Having had villa holidays for over 30 years Labyrinthe has to be the best we have stayed in by far, perfect in every way.  Such a peaceful location with superb views.  Everything we could possibly want was provided, along with numerous unexpected extras. The house is an absolute dream, all rooms very spacious and well appointed, having very efficient air conditioning.  It was a delight to have four bath/shower rooms making getting out of a morning so much easier with not having to queue to get ready.  A wonderful warm well maintained swimming pool in well looked after gardens, lovely spacious terraces with excellent garden furniture.  The more energetic members of our party made good use of the table tennis and boules.  All our meals were taken out of doors on the large well shaded terrace, enjoying the beautiful weather.  The villa was such a delight we found it hard to tear ourselves away and do some sightseeing.  However, it was well worth the effort.  The Cathar castles and their locations are simply stunning, as are the little towns and villages.  The roads are quiet and driving is easy, enabling enjoyment of the wonderful scenery.  We really could write a book about our delightful holiday at Labyrinthe and hope to return next year if all our family can take the same holidays.  Thank you for sharing your superb house with us it was paradise.  (Agnes - party of 6. August 2009)

3 years ago we made a deal with 3 family's, also neighbours.  The deal was that the future takes us every 2 years on holiday for 1 week.  The first time was 2 years ago, then we went to Spain.  We stayed in a house, a very beautiful house, and we thought we were never going find such a beautiful house again.  Now, August 2009, we found a house - in the beginning we thought it was too big and we were going to get lost, but everyone had their own privacy, bedroom, bathroom etc.  Thank you for letting us use your house for the week, thank you for letting us use everything in the house and be sure, we found the house we thought we would never find again!!!  (Elsie - party of 6 from Belgium. August 2009)

We certainly enjoyed the weather and countryside.  But especially your house.  Beautiful, comfortable and everything nice and ok.  We love to come back in the future.  (Philip - party of 9 from Holland. July 2009)

The house on a hillside with great views and a wonderful garden was perfect for our needs.  The house is very spacious with two kitchens, five nice bedrooms, a terrace and a relaxing pool area.  The property is secluded, yet not far from a baker, and supermarkets in Carcassonne and Limoux, around ten minutes away by car.  The house was clean and well-maintained, with many facilities, including satellite-TV with hundreds of channels.  We, four middle-aged couples, really enjoyed our holiday. There are a lot of things to see in the region and we highly recommend the property to other travellers.  We visited a fantastic restaurant in Cavanac - the seven dishes meal including wine was worth every euro.  I still dream about the lobster.  (Per - party of 8 from Sweden. July 2009)

Having stayed in Provence for 2 years running, we felt we had to discover a new part of the world.... so south west France it was!... not really FAR from Provence, but so different in atmosphere, and this house is perfectly placed to enjoy all of it.  From the stunning and dramatic Cathar castles (good if you like history, great if you just like beautiful views), and of course Carcassonne, to the languid and charming Canal du midi.  Market day at Mirepoix (lovely medieval town) and the gorgeous hills that surround Montclar in every direction.  This house is so well situated.  Just the drive to Mirepoix with the views across to the Pyrenees (also tantalizingly close) was a treat.  There is enough here to fill several holidays, and i haven't even mentioned that the beach is less than an hour away as well.  As for the house... we found it well run, and full of everything you would need and more (table tennis table, satellite TV!... cots, wireless internet, etc).  But the best thing really is the setting.  A great pool area, set in a lovely garden, with a great view (nice to eat outside looking at it) and SO quiet while still only a short drive from the shops.  On the last day we walked up the hill directly outside the gate for half an hour, without passing a single car/person, and finally came to a 360 degree view of the Corbiere hills, Black Mountains, the plane in between with Carcassonne in it, and the Pyrenees.  What a place!  Don't want to go home......(Oliver - party of 6. June 2009)

Fantastic villa with lots of space.  Our party consisted of 2 couples and 3 singles, and everybody had his/her own privacy.  Spacious and fully equipped.  Beautiful view.  It was very pleasant that the pool was heated, since the temperature in May is (fortunately) not too hot.  The area is beautiful.  Shops / villages at reasonable distance.  Several times one of us ‘tasted’ the (well-known) Cassoulet and all of us tasted the very excellent local wines.  Very pleasant contact with the owner. Ralph, the Property Manager, was very helpful.  In three words: ‘A great holiday’. Thanks.  (Lia - Party of 7 from Holland. May 2009)
